It has been a while since I’ve posted a great Publix trip. I’ve certainly had many great Publix trips lately, but this one is just the icing on the cake!!
Today’s trip shows the importance of stacking coupons (combining a manufacturer’s coupon with a store coupon).
Here is the breakdown of my trip:
(2) Nabisco Mini Variety Packs – $5.99 – BOGO price $3.00 – Used $1.50 coupon = $1.50 each.
(2) Ronzoni Quick Cook Pasta – $1.29 – BOGO price $0.64 – Used $0.50 coupon (doubled) = $0.46 overage on each!
(2) Progresso Bread Crumbs – $2.09 – BOGO price $1.05 – Used $1.00 coupon = $0.05 each
(1) Hidden Valley Farmhouse Original Dressing – $3.39 – BOGO price $1.70 – Used $2.00 coupon = $0.30 overage!
(2) Milky Way Bare – $0.45 – Used BOGO coupon (doubled) = $0 each
(4) Sundown Vitamin B-6 – $3.59 – Used $1 manufacturer’s coupon and $6 off 2 Publix coupon = $0.41 overage on each!
(4) Sundown Vitabmin A – $3.29 – Used $1 manufacturer’s coupon and $6 off 2 Publix coupon = $0.71 overage on each!
My total before tax was negative $1.41!! After tax I only had to pay $1.69 for my $56.61 worth of groceries!!
What to do with all of those vitamins you ask? I plan to donate them to the food bank at my church and use them in Coupon Party goody bags.
Join me daily on Facebook for great new coupons, deals, and steals! I’ll search the Internet so you don’t have to.🙂

I had another excellent week at Publix! This week is one of my best this year!

Remember, I can show you how to do this for yourself! Parties are easy and free to host! Contact me via email or on my Facebook Sizelove Saves fan page if you are interested.

Today’s Publix run wasn’t my best, but who can really complain about saving 75% off your bill? I bought so much that it wouldn’t all fit on my counter top, so thus the two pictures. I am a little disappointed with myself for going over my New Year’s resolution amount of $50 a week, but I have a lot for my depleted stockpile (after finishing the Pantry Challenge), items for Coupon Party goody bags, and great produce! I was even able to get an awesome deal on one of my hubby’s favorites – deli Genoa Salami! I could almost give it to him for Valentine’s Day he loves it that much. 🙂
So here are my numbers:
Part of my great savings came from a $5 Publix gift card that Publix mailed me last week. Around Christmas time I emailed the corporate office a request for a Publix calendar (they were full of great coupons, but only available in FL), but they were not able to send me one. I got the $5 gift card instead! Thanks Publix! You really do have awesome customer service!
